The research study examined the “The effect of radio family planning programme among women (Case Study of Boripe Local Government)”. This study is aimed to ascertain the effect of radio family planning programmes aimed at educating families among among women in Boripe Local Government, Osun state, The objective of the study is also to determine the women’s knowledge about family planning. The study looks account of the sex, marital status, “Occupational variables that were of relevance to the study. In this study theory of reasoned action (TRA) and health benefit model was used. The study adopted survey method of research whereby questionnaire was used as research instrument. Total copies of 100 questionnaire was administered among Women of Boripe Local Government area, total copies of 95 questionnaire were recovered and was analyzed in chapter four of the study. The study concludes that the knowledge of family planning was generally good with the major determinant being obtaining information from radio programmes. The findings therefore recommends that Government should provide free family planning services at first contact and also Government should organize more radio programmes to educate people about family planning.
